Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) – LaMarcus Aldridge had 28 points and nine
rebounds in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 116-100 victory over the Denver
Nuggets on Sunday.
Wesley Matthews added 21 points and six boards for the Blazers, who improved
to 4-3 on the young season. Robin Lopez and Chris Kaman each tallied 12
points.
Kenneth Faried ended with 19 points, seven rebounds and three blocks for the
Nuggets (1-5), who have lost five in a row. Arron Afflalo and Ty Lawson each
donated 18 points.
