Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) – Duron Carter’s 23-yard touchdown reception
in the fourth quarter was the difference, as the Montreal Alouettes clinched a
playoff berth with a 17-14 decision over the Toronto Argonauts on Sunday at
Molson Stadium.
Jonthan Crompton finished just 13-of-26 for 251 yards for the Alouettes (9-8),
while Carter recorded career highs of 181 yards and 11 receptions including
the winning score.
Tyrell Sutton added 128 yards and a TD on 21 carries.
Ricky Ray was 26-of-35 for 209 yards for the Argonauts (7-10), while Steve
Slaton contributed 55 yards rushing on 13 tries and nine catches for 52 yards
in defeat.
