Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Boston Celtics will be without guards
Rajon Rondo and Marcus Smart for Saturday’s game against Chicago.
Rondo is expected to miss just one game after having the screws removed from
his surgically repaired left hand on Saturday morning. The star point guard
broke his hand in a fall at his home in September.
The Celtics expect Smart to miss up to three weeks with a sprained left ankle
he suffered during Friday’s game against Indiana.
Smart was carted off the court early in the fourth quarter and an MRI taken
Friday night confirmed the sprain and some bone bruising, the team said.
