Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Blake Griffin scored a game-high 39
points to lead the Los Angeles Clippers past the Los Angeles Lakers, 118-111,
on Friday.
Jamal Crawford had 22 points and five assists off the bench, Josh Redick
supplied 15 points and Chris Paul scored 12 points with 10 rebounds for the
Clippers, who were coming off a 93-90 win over Oklahoma City on Thursday.
“We just got stops when we needed to,” said Griffin. “It’s everybody working
together.”
DeAndre Jordan finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds in the win.
Jordan Hill paced the Lakers with 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting, Kobe Bryant
had 21 points and seven assists and Jeremy Lin contributed 17 points and nine
assists in the team’s third straight loss to start the season.
