James Johnson helps Raptors beat Spurs

Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – James Johnson scored a season-high 20
points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with less than a minute to play, to
lift the Toronto Raptors to an 87-82 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.

Trailing 82-79 with 1:49 to play, the Raptors scored the last eight points of
the game to end their seven-game losing streak to the Spurs.

DeMar DeRozan added 18 points for the Raptors and Jonas Valanciunas delivered
eight points and 16 rebounds.

San Antonio started its nine-game road trip with a loss and coach Gregg
Popovich was denied his 1,000th career win.

Tim Duncan had 12 points and 12 boards and Marco Belinelli netted 12 as well
in the loss.
