Neal lifts Preds over Blues

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – James Neal scored the winning goal with
6:28 to play as the Nashville Predators edged the St. Louis Blues, 2-1, on
Saturday.

Filip Forsberg posted a goal and an assist, as did Neal, while Pekka Rinne
made 28 stops for the Predators, who have won three of four.

Jori Lehtera scored the only goal of the game for the Blues, who had a seven-
game winning streak broken. Brian Elliott stopped 33 shots in the loss.

Neal put the Predators ahead as Forsberg skated down the left wing and left a
drop pass for Neal, who wristed it in for his eighth of the year.

Rinne made the lead stand up as he stopped seven shots in the third.

The Blues held a 1-0 lead after one period of play when Vladimir Tarasenko
sent a shot on net from the slot that was stopped, but Lehtera flipped home
the rebound from the right side for his third of the season.

Nashville tied the game at 7:20 of the second period when Forsberg took a pass
at the right circle on the fly and snapped it home for his sixth of the year.
