No. 4 Duke holds on to beat Florida St.

Tallahassee, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Quinn Cook scored 26 points and No. 4
Duke held on to beat Florida State 73-70 on Monday night, avoiding what could
have been another upset at the hands of the Seminoles.

The Blue Devils have been upset often by Leonard Hamilton’s Seminoles in the
last 12 years and nearly let this one slip away, too.

They coughed up a 14-point lead early in the second half but made enough free
throws down the stretch to secure a fourth consecutive win.

Tyus Jones added 16 points for Duke (21-3, 8-3 ACC), Jahlil Okafor scored 13
and Justise Winslow had 10.

Devon Bookert scored 17 of his career-high 23 points in the second half for
the Seminoles (13-12, 5-7), who have defeated Duke six times since Hamilton
took over in 2002, with each win coming when the Blue Devils were ranked in
the top 10.
