Red Sox decline 2015 option on Breslow

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Boston Red Sox have declined the 2015
contract option on pitcher Craig Breslow.

Breslow went 2-4 with a 5.96 ERA in 60 relief appearances for Boston this past
season.

The left-hander is 22-23 with a 3.20 ERA in 479 career games — all in relief

(2008-09), Athletics (2009-11) and Diamondbacks (2012).

Additionally, the Red Sox reinstated outfielder Shane Victorino (lumbar
disectomy surgery) from the 60-day disabled list.
