Report: Cardinals, Palmer agree to 3-year extension

( – The Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Carson Palmer have
reportedly agreed on a three-year contract extension which will pay the former
USC product $50 million. was first to report the news on Friday.

Palmer, who was scheduled to become a free agent at the end of the season, has
led the Cards to their best eight-game record (7-1) since 1974 when the team
was based in St. Louis.
