Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – San Antonio Spurs stars Tim Duncan and Manu
Ginobili will miss Thursday’s game against Houston.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich will give his veterans a rest following Wednesday’s
game against Atlanta. Duncan had 17 points and 13 rebounds in just under 35
minutes in the 94-92 win, while Ginobili scored 12 points in just under 26
minutes.
The Spurs have played just three games this season, the fewest in the Western
Conference.
San Antonio will also be without guard Marco Belinelli because of a mild groin
strain and center Tiago Splitter because of a strained right calf. Both played
Wednesday in the 94-92 win over Atlanta, although Belinelli played just under
five minutes.
