Strong third period lifts Flames over Panthers

Sunrise, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Johnny Gaudreau and Mark Giordano each
posted a goal and two assists, as Calgary scored three times in the third
period to claim a 6-4 victory over Florida on Saturday.

Lance Bouma provided the go-ahead goal for the Flames, who also received
tallies from David Jones, Jiri Hudler and Sean Monahan to win for the fourth
time in their last five contests.

Jonas Hiller earned the win in relief by stopping all nine shots he faced.
Karri Ramo was pulled in the second period after giving up four goals on 22
shots.

Scottie Upshall registered two goals and one assist for the Panthers, who tied
a season-high by losing three straight games. Jimmy Hayes and Nick Bjugstad
added offense, while Aaron Ekblad picked up two helpers.

Al Montoya was on the hook for five goals on 24 shots.
