(SportsNetwork.com) – The Oklahoma City Thunder will shoot for back-to-back
wins when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday at the Bradley Center.
The Thunder have lost six in a row on the road dating back to last season and
are 0-4 on the road in 2014-15.
Oklahoma City ended a three-game slide and won for the second time this season
(2-5) with Sunday’s 101-93 victory over the surging Sacramento Kings. Reggie
Jackson scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, while Jeremy Lamb
added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Thunder, who have won 11 straight
against the Kings. Serge Ibaka tallied 14 points, nine boards and four blocks.
Sebastian Telfair and Nick Collison scored 14 and 10 points, respectively.
“We’ve never been undermanned when it comes to team and team spirit,” said
Thunder coach Scott Brooks. “They showed that tonight.”
OKC will visit Boston on this brief trek.
The Bucks ended a two-game slide with a 93-92 triumph over the previously
unbeaten Memphis Grizzlies. Brandon Knight’s three-point play with just 1.1
seconds remaining lifted Milwaukee to victory, its third of the season.
Knight finished with 14 points and six assists and Giannis Antetokounmpo
tallied a career-high 18 points off the bench for the Bucks.
“I think coach (Jason Kidd) was telling the other guys to give me the ball
because they saw that I had a mismatch,” Antetokounmpo said.
The Bucks snapped a seven-game series losing streak and earned their first win
over Memphis since a 108-103 overtime decision on March 28, 2010.
Rookie Jabari Parker had 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting for Milwaukee.
Oklahoma City won both meetings with Milwaukee last season and is unbeaten in
the last four meetings in Brew City.
